Recently I've had the opportunity to finally get back to Toronto with my camera. After not toting my camera in the city since spring of 2014 it was exciting to get out and see what's changed since then and what the streets look like.
I like to think I have a rough plan of things I might want to see and shoot in Toronto which often leads me to the same places again and again. I always find myself near the Flatiron building and St. Lawrence Market on Front St (tip: check out the Antique market on Sundays), wandering through the financial district staring up at its monolithic towers, passing by the ROM's striking Crystal addition, or in Kensington Market soaking up the weird and the grit. Even though I have certain places I frequent, the things I shoot either at a destination or on the way are often random. Whether it be a candid street portrait, a proper architectural shot, or a classic cityscape there's always something different waiting for me.
Here is a gallery of some of my favourite photos from my two recent trips:
Until next time, TO.
